Thank you, members!
We had a wonderful, warm welcome at our open house April 13. More than 80 guild members and their guests joined us, with many staying for the presentation by Robyn Spady.
To liven up the space, Lisa Torvik and Robbie LaFleur demonstrated on behalf of the Scandinavian Weaving and Rag Rug Study Groups, respectively, showing and answering queries about the groups’ latest projects.
Big thanks to Board members Cass Markovich (pictured, at right), who catered our refreshments, and Deb Jensen (welcome and beverages), pictured at left). Thanks too to Paula Beck, who welcomed all to our new home with cheer and good humor at our Meet and Greet table. For those of you who were visiting WGM’s new place for the first time, we hope you found the space inviting and can imagine yourself creating and sharing within it.
