We warmly invite all guild members for a member meetup and open house on Thursday, April 13. Starting at 4pm, walk through the new guild spaces, check out our sunny classrooms and maker space, and browse in the cheery expanded shop. Chat with staff and members of the Board. If you are new to WGM, this is a great opportunity to meet other members.
At 6:30pm that evening, join us for “Taming of the Hue” with weaver and designer Robyn Spady. This in-person presentation kicks off our weekend workshop with Robyn. (You can also catch her in person for Friday night’s talk!)
If you haven’t been to Open Book yet, make time to stop by the shop at Minnesota Center for Book Arts (open until 7 on Thursdays) or Milkweed Books (open until 5) on the main floor. The new FRGMT Coffee is also expected to be open. On the second floor, view the current exhibition, Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here, a collection of letterpress-printed broadsides, artists’ books, and prints. We look forward to seeing you!
