Join us at the 2023 Minnesota State Fair
Did you know the Weavers Guild has demonstrated at the Minnesota State Fair for more than 70 years! Find us in the Creative Activities Building from 9am-8pm daily, celebrating the magic of weaving and spinning through hands-on demos by our knowledgeable members.
While you’re there, sign up at our booth for a chance to win a free membership (we award one/day).
The State Fair demonstrations are also our largest volunteer effort, requiring the efforts of more than 80 members, aided by staff and key volunteers. (Thank you!) This year, members of WGM’s Rag Rug Study Group lead two full days of demonstrations, while the Duluth Fiber Guild will join us on Tuesday August 29 to highlight fiber arts resources in northern Minnesota. We are excited to bring more awareness to resources across the state.
