Bid on Articles from Handspun wolf–to Benefit the International Wolf Center of Ely

This February 1^st, there will be an online silent auction benefiting the International Wolf Center of Ely, MN www.wolf.org. Weavers Guild member Chillon Leach has initiated this fiber related portion with full support of the IWC staff (who also obtained government approval). WGM members who are participating this year are: Virginia Parent, Judy Preckshot, Nancy Preckshot, and Chillon Leach.

Last year, the first year of this project and with 7 more spinning members, garnered over $4,000 for some of the handspun/hand woven / hand knit / hand felted items made from the exhibition pack wolves’ yearly shed hand brushed undercoat. Items have also been State Fair winners, two years’ running!  Please consider joining in on the bidding fun to help a worthy cause.  More information about this story will be forthcoming.
