WHEN: May 11-13, 2018
WHERE: Washington County Fairgrounds, 12300 N. 40th St., Lake Elmo, MN 55042

Join WGM at the 2018 Shepherd’s Harvest Sheep and Wool Festival held at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this annual event, usually held on Mother’s Day weekend, is the largest sheep and wool festival in Minnesota, bringing together 130+ vendors to provide you with all the fiber-related materials you could ever need. In addition, you can take classes, watch sheep dogs go through their paces, enjoy llama magic, fleece judging, free music and demos given throughout the day. Here is your opportunity to let your imagination run wild – along with all the furry, fuzzy critters in the barnyard. You can also enjoy vittles from the 4-H food building (featuring lamb burgers and lamb brats) or from one of the food trucks on site. For detailed festival info, go to the website: www.shepherdsharvestfestival.org

Volunteers are needed to demonstrate on behalf of the Weavers Guild of Minnesota at Shepherd’s Harvest Sheep and Wool Festival, May 2018.
The Washington County Fairgrounds are located just east of Lake Elmo, MN at the intersection of Washington County Rd 15 & Highway 5. If you are able to volunteer for a 2 hour time slot for the WGM table on either Saturday or Sunday, please register here.
