Best for a seasoned spinner that wants to spin bulky yarn.  If you find fibers getting caught on small hooks of your flyer, this could be an option for you at a great price.  It is somewhat comparable to the Ashford Country Spinner, (new is over $700) but not as smooth and easy to use.

I wouldn’t suggest this wheel for a beginner spinners as the treadling and tension is more difficult than other wheels. Once you have the hang of it, it works nicely.

As my other listings, I am selling for a friend whose health doesn’t allow her to use her beloved equipment any more. I also have numerous niddy noddies, antique but working skein winders and vintage hand cards. I haven’t gotten these listed yet, but inquire if you are interested.
