This 4 shaft, 6 treadle loom and warping mill have been donated to WGM. A plaque identifies “Built by the London School of Weaving & The Kensington Weavers”. It is similar to Scandinavian looms in that it assembles with wedges, and has an overhead beater. Rollers are the counterbalance mechanism. It appears to allow assembly with either front attached or rear attached treadles. Original string heddles. Replacement lamms fabricated by the donor. 42” weaving width. 63” high, 42” deep, 54” wide. Bench included. Warping mill is 68” tall, circumference about 3 yds.
Loom located in St Paul. Sales tax will be added to the purchase price of 550.
