Join the Weavers Guild of Minnesota for a behind-the-scenes tour of Studio On Fire letterpress and design studio located in the “Creative Enterprise Neighborhood” of Saint Paul on February 8, 2018 from 2-3pm.
Learn about how Studio on Fire marries design, art and craft in their full, in-house modern letterpress printing house. Studio on Fire provides both design services and letterpress printing with a distinctively tactile presence. Their daily mission is to create premier work featuring best-in-class print design, letterpress printing and specialty finishing methods. Since the shop was born over a decade ago (starting with a single press in a home basement set between the boiler and the litter box), they’ve acquired over a dozen well-oiled vintage presses and are staffed with hardworking people dedicated to the craft of exceptional print production. Fine Print – WGM cancellation policy: If you cannot attend a program, written notice must be received at least two (2) business days prior to the event. A full refund, minus a $15 administrative fee, will be given. Allow 2–4 weeks for refunds.
