This 8 shaft 10 treadle countermarch loom donated to WGM, was handcrafted in Oregon in the 70’s. Loom is in the Scandinavian style with overhead beater, and crosspieces joined to side members with removable pegs. It is disassembled and in climate controlled storage in Mound MN. It has a built in bench. In looking at the loom, I didn’t assemble it, but all parts appear to be there, with evidence of good craftsmanship. A new owner would want to use a reference book for assembly. With original string heddles, the jig to make more, and original cord for tie ups; new owner may want to switch over to Texsolv. Estimated dimensions 67” tall, 65” wide, 68” deep. It has a 46” carbon reed. Sales tax will be added to price of $750.
