This loom has been generously donated to WGM. The owner of this loom is purchasing a new loom which is expected to arrive in late summer, so loom not available until then. 36” weaving width, 8 shaft, 10 treadle, 48” wide, 36” deep, 43” high. X-frame folds to 18” deep. About 25 years old, with new inserted eye heddles. Donor has been frustrated by occasionally sticking shafts, but no evidence of warped frames. Wood in beautiful shape. Since there’s evidence that original owner (not the donor) made some sub-optimal changes (texsolv heddles, cut and knotted cord on cloth beam) this loom might be best used by an experienced weaver who can observe its quirks and fine tune its performance.
