Gammelgarden Museum of Scandia in northern Washington County has a large historic floor loom that was donated to the museum. Currently, it sits in a corner and visitors pass by it, but don't spend as much time looking at it or understanding how it was used.

We would like to do two things: (1) see if it is still operational (it was repaired when it was acquired by the museum, but it was never used, and (2) make a short video of someone weaving on the loom. This would be posted to the museum's website and visitors to the museum would use a QR code that would be posted by the loom to watch the video.

This is a volunteer opportunity and a way for a weaver to weave on a historic loom, and share the joy of weaving with others.
