Rescued: One beautifully crafted Douglas fir fly-shuttle loom.
This loom was recently purchased from the estate of a local textile artist who taught at the University of Minnesota. It is a 64” weaving width, 12 shaft, 14 treadle fly-shuttle loom with two sectional warp beams. Designed by Gene Mailes and Laya Brostoff in the 70’s and built from gorgeous Doug fir.
Instructions, hardware, and blueprints included.
Note: Needs one treadle, and a reed.
$500 or make a reasonable offer, I would like to see it go to someone who can use it.
It is loosely assembled and ready for you to come easily disassemble, take pictures of, with nice loading docks for pickup in South St. Paul
