At the Weavers Guild of Minnesota (WGM), we believe weaving, spinning, and dyeing are fundamental to the human experience. We are the largest weaving and spinning guild in the US, serving nearly 600 members.
Programs include classes designed for learners of all skill levels and abilities, workshops with nationally-recognized instructors, and public talks and exhibitions. We partner with festivals and other arts, sustainability and social service organizations throughout the Twin Cities metro. At our space in Minneapolis, WGM has dedicated classrooms and a wide range of resources as well as a shop selling specialty equipment, books, and yarns.
Member events include meetings and lectures, self-study groups, exhibition opportunities and the annual artisan sale. Membership is open to everyone. Join us!
