For Sale 8 shaft Leclerc Nilus 45" wide with 10 back-hinged treadles. Upgraded in 2007 so it does have two different colors of wood but it works well. Only parting with it for lack of time. AVL Loom
Extras include a folding spool rack, which holds up to 48 spools, tension box with yarn counter, 3 reeds at 8, 10, 12 dpi, and the 2 original manuals, one for loom assembly, and one for weaving instruction. This loom was built in the 1990’s and is number #01556 – Batch #3A-90. It is constructed of the really nice hard maple first used in AVL looms, with a clear finish. This loom was converted to the mechanical dobby after it was purchased, so there is a box of modular parts if you wanted to convert it back. You could also upgrade it to a compudobby and add a fly shuttle for production weaving. This loom has been lovingly used, and is in beautiful and excellent condition. Asking $6,000, and must be picked up in Brule, Wisconsin, near Duluth, MN, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Please contact Joyce at 715-372-4858. |
