Library Collection & Services

Library Staff & Volunteers
The Textile Center Library is staffed by a professional librarian, responsible for the stewardship of this unique collection.

Library volunteers are essential partners in keeping our Library open and functional. Volunteers receive training on checking books in and out, reshelving books, researching patron's requests and special projects coordinated by the Librarian. Volunteers may serve as few as 2 hours per month. Please contact the Librarian to learn more about volunteering.

Check Out Policy
Anyone may visit and use the Library to do research. Members of the Textile Center and Participating Member Organizations have full check out privileges. All items may be checked out for a period of 35 days. A maximum of 10 items per member may be checked out.

Renewal Policy & Fines
Books may be renewed once, in person or by phone (612-436-0464 Ext.108) Materials renewed on or before the due date will be renewed for 35 more days from the date they are renewed. When materials are renewed after the due date, fines will accrue from the due date to the renewal date, and you must return the materials and pay the fine before checking out more materials.
