Selling
How do I find out the value of my loom or spinnning wheel?
We are not permitted to appraise your equipment. You can get an idea of resale value by referring to other ads posted on sites like Craigslist, Weavolution (for looms), Ravelry (for spinning wheels) or the WGM Classifieds, or you can refer to the manufacturer’s website. You can also check our “Equipment For Sale” book at the guild, which has hard copies of equipment ads. (Note: equipment does not appreciate in value over time)Can I sell my equipment at the Weavers Guild of Minnesota?
No. However, you can advertise your equipment with us. Refer to the information about WGM Classifieds

Can I order yarn through you and have it shipped to my home?
Current WGM Members can conveniently order in-stock new yarn from Fiber Source, WGM’s specialty shop. This is a WGM member benefit and does not apply to non-members. This benefit also does not apply to books, donated yarns, or equipment.
Repairs
Does someone at the guild repair woven items?
Not really. If you have a garment that needs reweaving, try contacting a tailor or dry cleaner. If you have a rag rug that needs reweaving, there is a chance that an experienced weaver in our membership could take it as a commission.Does someone at the guild repair looms or spinning wheels?
