Safety
- Prospect Park Neighborhood, where the Textile Center and WGM are located, is the most established community in the metropolitan area. Within walking distance of our building, there is an elementary school that is also a venue for adult learning, as well as a community church. The neighbors are proactive when it comes to safety. The sidewalks are clear and well lit.
- As good general practice in an urban environment, do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Do not leave purses, backpacks, briefcases within visible sight inside your vehicle.
- Stay aware of your surroundings. Don’t be distracted with electronic devices.
