NEW Woven Shibori
Woven Shibori is a process of weaving and resist dyeing developed by Catharine Ellis. Fabric is woven incorporating pattern threads that are gathered tightly once the fabric is off the loom.  After dyeing, the pattern threads are removed revealing wonderful, abstract designs on fabric that can be used as a scarf, wall hanging, or for sewing into objects. Students will weave, gather  and dye while learning the techniques. No previous dyeing experience is necessary to enjoy this class.
